Celebrate Victoria Day with Food & Drinks from Eat Sum More

Queen Victoria’s Birthday, known as Victoria Day, was initially celebrated on May 24th, the actual date of her birth.
Following her passing in 1901, the holiday was officially designated as Victoria Day. In 1952, the observance was moved to the Monday before May 25th, allowing for a long weekend.
Queen Victoria’s reign marked a pivotal time in Canadian history, as she was the monarch during Canada’s confederation in 1867.
